Ampoja Beach House is a lovely family beach house spread over 900 square meters, nestled amongst the sand dunes of one of Kenya’s most beautiful secluded beaches, stretching for miles on end, untouched by crowds.  It is the last house on the beach, located on a twenty acre beachfront plot with over 1,000 coconut palm trees alongside other indigenous plans, making for an idyllic setting. The house is built entirely from locally sourced materials to the family's own design. It is ideal for families and groups of friends, with large amounts of airy indoor and outdoor living space, a swimming pool and 5 double bedrooms all opening out towards the sea. Inside the house it boasts a large open kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area that can accommodate 16 people at the table and a large family snug area. Head upstairs for the astonishing roof terrace set under the traditional makuti roof, stretching the whole length of the house, which provides incredible views out to sea – a fantastic sundowner or morning coffee spot!

Each of the five bedrooms are spacious and open out towards the sea - they all have double beds, ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.  Each can accommodate an additional bed if required. The house has a wonderful team of dedicated staff that look after the guests and the home.  They include an excellent chef, Kahindi, who is passionate about the local cuisine and fresh seafood, as well as making excellent puddings.  He can cater for all dietary requirements,

Ampoja Beach House is approximately 30 minutes North of Malindi with it’s variety of shops and restaurants.  The house is only a 15 minute walk down the beach from the only hotel, Che Shale, which is home to a world-class kitesurfing centre, with a fantastic seafood restaurant and a good watering hole.  They can also arrange deep-sea fishing and dhow sailing trips, with a seafood BBQ lunch and snorkelling.

Arcadia (def: Imagined place of rural bliss) is a stylish and comfortable 4/5 bedroom house with 5 bathrooms.  Set in a private garden of one acre, the house is situated on a beach access road only a minute's walk from the white sandy beach of Watamu Marine Park.  There is a large pool flanked with various seating areas, including a kingsize makuti-shaded double bed, ideal to relax and watch the children in the pool. The house includes a master bedroom upstairs with a fantastic 8ft wide Master bed, large ensuite bathroom and a separate kids sleeping area off it.  The master bedroom has it's own private balcony with a further double bed on it. Downstairs are three further bedrooms, two double and one twin - all with ensuite bathrooms.  All four bedrooms have air-conditioning, mosquito nets and overhead fans. The kitchen is modern and open - separated by a breakfast bar from an area with  plenty of seating.  A further living room with a bar leads to a space where another double bed that can be used as a 5th bedroom if necessary.  

The house is fully staffed including a cook, and G4S security buttons.

Beach House is a stunning 4 Bedroom Beachfront house with 2 bedroom cottage surrounded by palm trees only a few meters from the Watamu Marine Park and the fabulous white sands of Turtle Bay Beach. Set over three stories Beach House has plenty of comfortable seating areas, as well as sun-beds flanking the swimming pool. The ground floor is open plan with a main entrance hall with double height ceiling, a dining room to one side and an inside living/TV room on the other.  The neighbouring tower houses the kitchen on the ground floor.  The property has wi-fi. The first floor in the main house, features two large bedroom suites, each with their own private covered terrace overlooking the view out over the garden towards the ocean.  Each has a spacious bathroom / dressing room including plenty of storage. The ground floor is open plan with a main entrance hall with double height ceiling, a dining room to one side and an inside living/TV room on the other.  The neighbouring tower houses the kitchen on the ground floor.  The property has wi-fi. The tower houses a further two double bedrooms with mosquito nets, overhead fans and ensuite shower rooms.  The tower rooms do not have air-conditioning. At the top of the tower is a partially covered roof terrace with fabulous views - a lovely place to sit and chill out in the heat of the day. In addition to the main house, there is a cottage containing two bedrooms, one twin and one double, with ensuite bathrooms, one with air-conditioning.  A small plunge pool is in the garden in front of the cottage as well as a sunbathing spot. The beach is just throught the trees, and the house is just over 1km down the beach from the main hotels.

The house is staffed including cook and security and there is an automatic generator backup in the event of a power cut.

Mwezi House is a bright and airy 4 bedroom oceanfront home with swimming pool set in 3 acres of walled garden in North Watamu, with spectacular views out over the Indian Ocean. This pretty coastal retreat provides an ideal ambiance for those wanting to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Watamu's northern coast, but with easy access to the various restaurants, shops and other activities this popular area has to offer.

Mwezi house offers 180 degree views, direct sea breeze and outstanding staff.

The terrace leads down to the pool which is flanked by a pergola with sun beds.  An arch leads from the garden down to the beach below.

There are four spacious and airy bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms upstairs, both now air-conditioned, and a double and twin with shared bathroom down.  The two upstairs double bedrooms lead out through French doors directly overlooking the ocean, both with dressing rooms.  The downstairs twin opens out onto a private tropical garden courtyard whist the double opens out onto the front veranda and pool.  All bedrooms have mosquito nets and overhead fans.

A comfortable sitting room occupies the ground floor of the house, with the kitchen off to one side and large doors opening out onto a breezy covered terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and the ocean beyond.  The terrace offers an outside dining option.

The property is staffed with a housekeeper and groundsman and at night the security is covered by G4S.  There is no house cook but if required a casual can be provided for an additional charge.

If you are an early riser you will be one of the lucky ones to witness the spectacular sun-rises every morning of your stay.
